Human Development Index
Definition
The Human Development Index (HDI) measures the development of a country and is composite index of:
- Health – The life expectancy at birth.
- Education – Mean number of years of schooling for adults aged 25 years and more and expected years of schooling for children of school entering age.
- Standard of Living – Gross national income per capita.
