Tracking Progress, Inspiring Action

Flood Risk Management- What can we do?

What is Communi-TT?

The SDGs rely on data collected for each of the 17 Goals to assess how much progress has been made—and what remains to be done before 2030. This data can identify strengths or areas for improvement in communities. It helps communities with similar challenges share experiences, collaborate, and validate their progress—whether those communities are in the same country or across the world.

A Community Focus

We take a closer look at how community-level responses to flooding help make us more resilient.

Keeping Hope Afloat

The risk of flooding depends on a combination of many things: the likelihood of a flood event occurring, the nature of the flood event, and the consequences of this flood event to us and the environment around us. Learn more about understanding what the risk might be to you and your friends and family.

Causes of flooding

Everyone has an opinion on what has caused the huge increase in flooding over the last few years. However, it is never just one thing. Flooding is a complex phenomenon with many causes and effects. By better understanding how causes are linked together, we have a better chance of understanding how to reduce the risk of flooding.
